But Clarke likes holding a good book, so he has been trading and bargaining over the years for anything that people brought aboard. His study is stone shelves (as close as he could get to "Natural") and covered in everything form magazines to textbooks, to leather bound journals, to erotic fiction and fantasy. His favorite book is The Left Hand of Darkness, he thinks it is painfully thematic.
